Paragon GPT Loader now overrides crippled HDD controller drivers in any Windows OS since XP to access internal HDDs more than 2TB in capacity despite limitations of system software.

Newer Windows operating systems, including Windows 7, appear to support modern high-capacity drives at first glance, but other system software — including Intel Storage Matrix Drivers for HDD controllers, which occur in most systems equipped with Intel chipset-based motherboards — limit that support, causing the majority of the disk to remain unavailable.

Paragon will provide technology solutions in Logitech high-definition video products for consumers and small business.

The first Logitech product to include Paragon’s technology is the Logitech® Alert™ HD digital video security system. With the addition of Paragon NTFS for Linux – based on Paragon’s unique Universal File System Driver (UFSD) technology – the built-in DVR in Logitech Alert smart cameras can record high-definition 720p video onto an NTFS-formatted microSD card. Stored HD video can then be remotely played back later, or backed up to the user’s PC over their network.

Hardware manufacturers are producing disk drives with geometric increases in disk capacity compared to a few years ago, broadening their appeal and functionality for a wide spectrum of end users.
